Dr. Ned Horowitz has been in practice since 1987 and is the proud owner of Massapequa Pet Vet since 1996. He is a graduate of Glasgow University Veterinary School, with a BVMS degree and is a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Horowitz works with dogs, cats and all exotic species of pets and has special interests in surgery, exotics and dentistry. As the medical director of Pet Vet and through years of education and training, he has dedicated himself to veterinary care, surgery and continued education.

Dr. Shavaughn Snipas completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Fordham University, in the Bronx in 2010, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She has a special interest in internal medicine and surgery. In her spare time, Dr. Snipas enjoys traveling, going to the beach, playing soccer and lacrosse, baking, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Snipas grew up on Long Island and shares her home with her husband, and dog, Buster.

Dr. Eugene Lee is a graduate from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been with Pet Vet since 2016 and has a special interest in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. He acquired his Bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology with a double major in Asian Studies at Tulane University. He spent his final year at Tulane studying abroad in Japan at Kansai Gaidai University. Prior to veterinary school, he worked as a research assistant, studying lupus. Since then, he has volunteered at the University of Illinois Wildlife Animal Hospital, where he was part of a team that rehabilitated local wildlife, and with Amazon Cares in Peru, where he assisted with a free local spay/neuter clinic. Dr. Lee grew up on Long Island and is happy to return home to practice veterinary medicine. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and traveling.

Dr. Christine Ginley was born and raised in Massapequa Park. She earned her undergraduate degree from SUNY New Paltz and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Green). Dr. Ginley has since returned to Long Island as a small animal General Practitioner. Her professional interests include small animal Internal Medicine, Dermatology, & Soft Tissue Surgery. In her spare time, Dr. Ginley enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, working out, boating, camping, and snowboarding.

Dr. Laura Fiore was born and raised on Long Island. She studied biology at Stony Brook University and went on to earn her veterinary degree in 2007 from St. George's University. After graduating she completed an internship at a local Long Island specialty and emergency facility. Since 2008 Dr. Fiore has been working full-time in private practice while also continuing to do work in emergency medicine and low-cost vaccine and spay/neuter venues. In 2013, she founded Faithful Friends Veterinary Services in order to provide pet owners a more private and personal end-of-life option for their animal companions. When not working, Dr. Fiore enjoys reading, and spending time with family and friends, including her own pets Oliver, Rudy, Dixie, Sage, Sloane, and Bosley. Dr. Fiore is an active member of the Long Island Veterinary Medical Association, New York State Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association, and maintains USDA accreditation.

Donna has been with Pet Vet for over ten years and is happy to help out the clients and staff with any problems or concerns. Donna runs our Non-Profit 501(c)(3) wildlife and rescue company (Long Island Wildlife and Animal Rescue) and is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. She is very involved with all the local rescue groups helping to find forever homes for all of the four-legged friends that are in need. She is especially knowledgeable on the indigenous bird species here on Long Island helping in the safe release of rehabilitated birds. Her love of all things feathered and furry
